Who doesn't want to play a Princess?

Updated: Mar 2, 2020

Occasionally a voice over job comes along that's a sheer delight to do. This week I got to voice Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood for an exhibition at Harewood House. Mary was a prolific letter writer & my task was to read out loud some of the letters she wrote, which will be played on a loop at the exhibition. Mary was recently portrayed in the Downton Abbey Film as being rather unhappy in her marriage but the letters show that she was genuinely excited and in love with Viscount Lascelles. Perhaps that excitement didn't last & it ended up being a marriage of convenience? I guess you'll have to go visit the exhibition to find out the truth!

And if you still haven't got your Royal Fix, don't forget to check out my one woman comedy sketch Christmas with the Windsors where I voice The Queen, Prince Philip, Charles, Kate, Meghan & Greta Thunberg. It's still funny even though it's not Christmas.
